I taught ASP.NET 2.0 last sunday (March 12, 2006) in ASP.NET Community Camp by IlmuKomputer.Com and INDC. It was a challenge to give a big topics of ASP.NET 2.0 in a day. They could not be an ASP.NET wizard in just 7 hours of learning :). I tried to focus on several new features that increase developer productivity and minimize painfull coding. But I also avoided over simplicity of the materials. I told about code behind coding style, data layer, business logic layer, and the caveats of inline coding (drag drop style) and “professional” OOP coding style. Because time it's so limited, I just gave my sample ASP.NET code in “professional” coding style :).
This training used VWD Express 2005, a free and powerfull ASP.NET Editor from MS. All 25 students received ASP.NET 2.0 Starter Kit and red developer Tshirt :). It's value for money, they only paid $8 for a nice training with full internet access. Unfortunatelly, I forgot my camera :(.

Following Express product line competition between MS, Oracle, and DB2, Telligent releases their Express Edition of Community Server. It's free, but can be used for commersial purpose. You still can request to them for Enterprise Edition for free, as long as comply with community agreement. Download now and play.
Hermawan (MS guy) told me several times about this cool stuff. Finally I try it, and it's really amazing! You can send even more than 50 MB of file to any email address you like. They will receive notification email, make aknowledgement that there's a file can be downloaded. It's a free service, and it's better than rapidshare. Just go to
http://transferbigfiles.com and send your files. The other cool thing is, this is only a weekend project. Some geeks of Axosoft made this one. Check their story about this project at
http://blogs.axosoft.com. Also, this is an ASP.NET project :)
