My Opinion on SL2 and SL3
After spending most of this month learning SL2. and all topic such as the VSM, Animation,skinning,splash screen,Animation etc . you can say till the end of the books. and then looking some showcase. look at the 3D sample also.
and compare to what my friend suggested to see. . PaperVision
Man... you print the page, and then show the page on the web cam and then it will generate the car . and when you moved or rotate your paper it follows.
and When i show the blend to my friend that can do nicely on flash and action script, "it looks like so complicated and dumb.. like early flash 3.."
Indeed SL2 is still like the first Released of SL, That is also what's stated on the book. SL2 provide the basic Flash basic like feature.
When i see what's new on SL3. it's interesting but one thing not nice. after i installed it my SL2 environment will not run.
And That leaves a question also . Shall i go and learn SL3 or wait for the release?
There's a discussion on this, the release would be on June or November , just guessing.
Some people said if your project released target is around june then go ahead.some disagree.
