Where is Microsoft Blend Shape Tweening?
I've been playing around with Silverlight lately and especially using Blend to create animation timeline, etc. but I found something lacking in current version of Blend / Silverlight. Not sure about WPF, but I think it's not there either, then again I might be wrong. The thing that is missing is built in shape tweening ability which is a very nice feature in Adobe Flash for morphing one shape to another.
Searching on the the internet I found some alternative ways that involve some coding (in WPF) to do this. One of them is by Charles Petzhold that is published as an article recently on MSDN magazine (
July 2007 - Foundations: Extending the WPF Animation Classes) and the other is a
sample for morphing 3D meshes by Robert Hogue.
I wrote this after briefly playing with Blend and Silverlight. Maybe I am wrong... anyone?
