I've never found a reason to interface your model objects - what's the point? Some may chime in here but do what you need to do - just use Person and be done with it :).

You need to use the TYPE directive on the inner select:

FOR XML PATH('activity'), ROOT('activities'), TYPE)

otherwise it returns text which is why you get the the angle brackets escaped.

Please tell me about finding the particular number which contain from the particular column of the table. Is it possible in the SQL or front hand.

examle:

say column name as billno, it contains around 2000 records, i want to find only one billno from the column. I want to use algorithm, in order to reduse searching time

"System.Math.Truncate" will give you the integer part of your double.

I'm not aware about a built in function that gives the fractional part.

Anyway, you can simply do this:

double x = 3.1415;

bool hasFraction = x - System.Math.Truncate(x) > 0;

If you want, you can make Extension Methods into the double type to returns the Integer Part or Fractional Part of a double.

public static double IntegerPart(this double x)

{

return System.Math.Truncate(x);

}

public static double FractionalPart(this double x)

{

return x - System.Math.Truncate(x);

}

So, you can simply do this:

double x = 3.14.15;

bool hasFraction = x.FractionalPart > 0;
