In an effort to provide customers with more secure products, Microsoft Windows Server "Longhorn" and Microsoft Windows Vista will only support the follow on release to SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or later. Earlier versions of SQL Server, including SQL Server 2000 (all editions including Desktop Engine edition, a.k.a MSDE), SQL Server 7.0, and SQL Server 6.5, will not be supported on Windows Server "Longhorn" or Windows Vista. Customers running applications with these earlier versions of SQL Server should consider evaluating and upgrading to SQL Server 2005, which was designed to take advantage of the upcoming security and performance enhancements in the operating environment.

Yesterday I was speaking on the BI and Application Integration Meeting with the following Topics “Integrate Your Application with SAP System to Enable Enterprise Business Intelligence”
This event is a Join Event between INTIMEDIA and Microsoft focusing on SAP customer that wants to know how to implement BI using SAP as Data sources.
The N2N solution session presented the Flight BI case study that implementing BI for flight booking business using SAP .NET Connector, SQL Server Integration Service for populating data from SAP and as ETL Tools for the BI, also SQL Server Analysis Services for Creating OLAP, KPI and Data Mining. And we also used Office 2007 Beta to display the BI in Office 2007 Beta 2 (there is a new feature in Office 2007 to display KPI in the spread sheet).
The Event attended by 45th attendee from 25 companies. The response of the attendee is very good, and they were very passion to listen all session until the closing of the event.

Hari ini pesanan saya dari SAP German telah sampai, yaitu SAP Netweaver 2004 SR1.
Ini kesempatan saya untuk belajar Netweaver bersama team Integration di kantor guna lebih mendalami SAP integration.khususnya yang berhubungan dengan Microsoft platform.
Yang menarik dari package sebelumnya package ini merupakan versi SAP Netweaver yang instalasinya diatas SQL Server 2005. menarik karena biasanya SAP diinstal di Oracle dan DB2.
