  • The last one week in Singapore

For the last one week in Singapore, I spent my night with lack of sleep, not just because I have to read a bunch of course material, but I also have to wrote articles, do book some book reference for an IT company, and choosing which faculty I will take for entering NUS. I have signed and fulfill all the application form for my January2008 intake. I hope all my documents are eligible to submit this application form. I don’t want to take too long enjoying my work and forgetting my primary objective of coming to Singapore.

Once, my friend considers that I resigned from my previous job in Microsoft just in order to come to Singapore and earning money. One of my other friends keeps reminding me to take my further study as soon as possible and stop pampering myself by working only. The last one was the funniest; he said that he will not give me an approval to go to Singapore if I only search for money but not for knowledge/further study. All of my fellow colleagues were so adorable when they come to knowledge and giving opinions, and yes… 3 of them are working married men with future visionary and different opinion.

Today I have a chat with my fellow friend who reminds me NOT to forget in taking my further study. He recommended me to take Knowledge Engineering (KE) rather than my previous choice on Software Engineering (SE). He said it is more visible and useful in career. Well, not so long after I review the module, I started to agree with his opinion as well. There are Design Patterns and Object oriented programming. Besides, I can’t take my eyes off of Neural Network Company, and Human Integration System-both Modeling and simulation. It will be an interesting topic to learn isn’t it? For me myself, culture, people, knowledge and technology are always an interesting topic to learn. I believe that I am in a broader view of living pace now. Not secularly, but also in erudition.
