About Norman Sasono
Norman Sasono is a Software Architect, Developer, Consultant, Trainer, Speaker and Author. Currently he is the Chief Technology Officer of Intimedia, a leading Indonesia Enterprise IT Solution Provider where he architected a solution that became worldwide finalist and Asia Pacific winner in the category of Best Technology Innovation Partner of The Year from Microsoft Corp.
He has a lot of experience in building Enterprise Computing Systems in various roles and in various methodologies. He is a group leader in Indonesia .NET Developer Community and been awarded as Microsoft MVP in C# for the last four years. In the community he's been recognized as a thought leader in Software Architecture and Programming Paradigm. The community even has labeled him a nickname "Mr. Patterns" due to his strong advocacy for Software Patterns.
His education background is in Engineering Physics and in Computer Science. He has a very deep love to Mathematics. He is a member of SIAM (Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics) and ACM (Asscociation fo Computing Machinary). His research area is in Mathematical Foundation of Computer Science, specifically in Numerical Analysis.
