Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Express Editions are now free forever

There, he wrote that Visual Web Developer Express is now free forever. This great news are came from Dan Fernandez's Blog. Dan Fernandez is Lead Product Manager of Visual Studio Express. In his blog, Dan Fernandez announced that effective April 19th, 2006, all Visual Studio 2005 Express Editions including Visual Basic, Visual C#, Visual J#, Visual C++, and of course Visual Web Developer Express will be free permanently !
Thanks to over 5 million downloads of Visual Studio 2005 Express Editions just five months since its launch, that makes it free.
Prior to this announcement, Visual Studio 2005 Express Editions were promotionally discounted to be free for one year, starting on November 7th, 2005.
