Happy new years to all INDC and Group Leader
While this bogs is one year old I will make a new column topic to describing something about IT and Programming.
Below is all of keyword about my new topic column:
- 'My-KB ;b' : I'll tell you about some knowledge base that I found in journey of my life
- 'There is A code..' : Just share about problem and solutions in programming, well I will use C# and J# in this case
- 'Diary of Newbie' : Just share about information about .NET related technology and ICT
- '{ Dummy Architect } : Just share about software engineering in dummy mind like the writer
That’s all, hope I can be a better Man just like what Robbie Williams say in his song..
Dunno why..
Have you ever playing King of Fighter or Street Fighter, if you have..you can imagine that you select a character (is you) and fighting style ..(in street fighter there are manual and Auto isn't it) but in software engineering there will be a conventional prosess model and agile process model..
well in this time i will talk about agile process, there are plenty of them you can reach it and select your mode at
1. www.extremeprogramming.org --> XP
2. www.adaptivesd.com --> ASD
3. www.dsdm.org --> DSDM
4. www.controlchaos.com --> SCRUM
5. www.crystalmethodologies.com --> Crsytal
6. www.thecoadletter.com --> FDD
7. www.agilemodelling.com --> AGile modelling
8. msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/enterprise/msf/default.aspx --> MSF AGile (does somebody wanna share VSTS and TFS for me..to learn it more..:D )
You can see the big picture right here..
Now just select your mode put your hand in keyboard and fight the time, kill the chaos and become the winner in Iron Fist Tournament (he9x just like Tekken game...well i told you that i'am a pro-gamer not programmers :)
Well it's time to said good bye for VS2003. and put the cd in your cd-shelf but wait!! have you notice that sometime your cd get dirty, scratch or broken..why don't you make a backup of your lovely VSCD2003 before you put it into the bottom of the sea (i mean sea of your old CD :D). Ok here are the situation if you Have multiple CD and want to backup it into single DVD. follow the step bro
Step 1: creating the folders
Create a folder in the root of your hard drive (note It must be in the root) called "en_vs.net_2003_enarch_full" i.e.(c:\en_vs.net_2003_enarch_full)
It must be in the root
in this folder create a new folder called "MSDN" i.e.(c:\en_vs.net_2003_enarch_full\MSDN)
Step 2: Extract the files
copy all files from cd 1-3 to your \en_vs.net_2003_enarch_full folder
extract the files from the MSDN Library (3cd) to the MSDN folder you created (\en_vs.net_2003_enarch_full\MSDN),
overwritting any duplicate files (note Setup.hlp is the file to overwrite)
Step 3: Edit the .msi
You will need to edit the msdn.msi file in \en_vs.net_2003_enarch_full\MSDN use a Program called Orca.exe it's part of
the Microsoft Platform SDK. get it here http://www.microsoft.com/
After installing Orca use it to open msdn.msi in the \en_vs.net_2003_enarch_full\MSDN folder. Then In Orca, select
"Media" on the left hand side, then scroll down on the right hand side until you see 3 volume labels : QTR40ENUD1
QTR40ENUD2
QTR40ENUD3
Change all 3 of them to VSENARD1 (same as dvd1 in VS2005 beta 2 :D )
Step 4: Creating the ISO
you need a program from to create ISO all the filse well many burner can do this,
STEP 5: BURN IT
Since i don't have DVD Writer i backup this ISO into my external Harddisk, maybe tomorrow i'll go to my friend and 'numpang ngebakar' :)
My PC getting to slow..although i disable the real time scan..after doing scan all the drive guess what i got this potential threat in Java workspace..
Hope it won't happen in .NET :)
