Q: Hey Ridi what is Avalon all about?
A: Well actually Avalon is a part of WinFX technology that enhanced our application in presentation area
Q: You said WinFX what is it?
A: If u know MSDOS based application and Windows 32 based application so WinFX is a new Windows programming model after Win32 Technology
Q: Ridi, you said that Avalon is a part of WinFX so is there any another technology?
A: Yeah..like Indigo, WinFS, and fundament base technology such as Windows Vista
Q: You said Windows Vista? so is Avalon only supported in Windows Vista?
A: Oh off course not Avalon will available in Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2003 SP1, there will be a separate update for that
Q: I'm unable to install Windows Vista Beta 1 in my machine, why?
A: Dun no I got some problem too maybe because my old machine :(, you can see that WinFX or Windows Vista vision is to 'Enable developers to take advantage of new technologies and hardware advances' so maybe this is a big problem for an old hardware like mine :)
Q: So what is Avalon vision so far?
A: well there are so many bro, such as integration design experience and development, utilizing the power of your PC by using vector based animation, declarative programming using any CLR based language, and last but not least it's designed work great with COD (click once deployment)
Q: So it's presentation layer huh, so there will be a new control In Avalon?
A: Well actually I call some new approach there will be a new panels, data binding method, container and a lot of it
