Wow we are in Batam for 9 days :). We visit one of the big company in Batam, they produce original catridge, high dpi scanner, and many component for watch and electronic LCD. We deliver training about C#, Basic Design Pattern, Enterprise Library, Mobile Programming like NCF as well as Mobile ASP.NET, and some overview about VSTS. We come to their company because they want to migrate their existing development process, tools, and technology into cutting edge MIcrosoft Technology such as Windows Mobile "Magneto" (what do you thinks Magneto or CrossBow?), NCF and duo VSTS and TFS (whoaaa) . Wow this is great chance for us to see the real world software implementation industry.
Meet the developer team in that company and I'm surely believe that they have enough passion to make it happen. hope i have a good passion like them too :)
There are many feature about Office 2007, but if your IT friend ask you about what's new in Office 2007, I recommend you to answer like this.
- Their are some new API and new Tools (VSTO-SE) to develop your costumer solution in Office platform
- Their are some new UI look called ribbon that can be easily customized by using XML editor (whoa..)
- VSTO SE now support managed add-ins (hurray..)
- VSTO SE now have template solution for many office product
- VSTO SE now have a friend called VSTA (A stand for Application). with VSTA you now able create add-ins project for Existing Application (of course your beloved App in windows platform :)
