Faculty Connection Summits 2008 mendiskusikan berbagai solusi terkini yang diyakini dapat memberikan sumbangsih bagi khasanah pendidikan di era teknologi informasi. Faculty Connection summit tahun ini membahas berbagai peran dan manfaat teknologi pada platform web sebagai salah satu alternatif platform pengembangan pola komunikasi yang persasif, seperti.
a. Era Web 2.0 yang memfokuskan pada arsitektur web yang kolaboratif, interaktif, dan memiliki skalabilitas yang cukup tinggi.
b. Teknologi Content Management System dan Blog yang menghadirkan pola interaksi alternatif dan efisien bagi pengembangan dunia pendidikan.
c. Tekologi Hosting yang diyakini dapat memberikan layanan berskalabilitas tinggi dan menghadirkan fleksibilitas pengelolaannya.
Pada acara ini juga didiskusikan berbagai program seperti Faculty Connection dan Imagine Cup. Faculty Connection 2008 Roadshow sebagai wadah yang mempertemukan representasi dari berbagai fakultas, akademisi dan Microsoft, serta Imagine Cup sebagai kompetisi teknologi mahasiswa terbesar didunia yang diyakini dapat melahirkan inovasi dan invensi sebagai langkah besar perkembangan dunia akademik
Partisipasi anda dalam acara ini adalah langkah awal mewujudkan dunia akademis yang kita inginkan.
TUJUAN :
“Faculty Connection Summits 2008”, forum ini bertujuan untuk mempertemukan representasi dari berbagai fakultas yang ada di Indonesia untuk membahas berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi komunitas akademis dan solusi yang terkait, acara ini menjadi suatu wadah komunikasi dan kolaborasi antar fakultas-fakultas se-indonesia sehingga diharapkan tercipta ide-ide dan breaktrough yang revolusioner bagi dunia akademis di Indonesia.

Ah Yes... there is a new Blog engine in the blocks (not really new things I guess), If you want to just blogging and don't need fancy stuff like Download, Forum, etc. You can depend with engine called BlogEngine.NET. This engine provides you and easy setup and good feature just like other blogs in this era. I create a simple guide for you to setup and blogging with Blog Engine, check this out here

Slideshow and Video streaming based on Silver light technology is seem cool, and how if we integrated it with Community Server a framework for web application that already have many cool features. Genova is just name for integration between rich media like Video and Slideshow. Integration is not only put it into a page, but also creates a frontend for administrator to manage their content.
