Windows Mobile | Back To The Past
The name is not Windows Mobile Again. but it is windows phone. Although many people believe that the Windows Phone is just like “old Windows Mobile”, there are a lot significant changes which is related with software performances, and user experience. Many of Windows Phone will have custom theme besides the titanium one, like HTC Manila technology, Xperia Panel Technology, and many others.
However despite the chages in name, the development model is still the same, .NET Compact framework will still become the fastest solution to build Windows Phone Software. Mobility still become geat software opportunity in the “long tail” so to learn about it won’t hurt you :)
