Remember Team Russia with their OmniMusic Project?
Well, I was reading my IEEE Spectrum magazine and realized that they were on cover story about "Virtual Jamming".
With the US$ 25,000 they got from winning + funding from venture capitalists, they have launched a startup called Musigy (http://www.musigy.com/)
They even have updated their application to .NET 3.0! Can't wait to download and play with it.
This is why we always promote Imagine Cup , to get students exposure to the world. I hope Team Aksara from Indonesia can make it to the top finals of the Imagine Cup 2007 at Seoul Korea, this August, and come home with pride. I hope venture capitalists will soon invade Indonesia, competing to fund students' creative but business-wise projects. Cross our fingers!
