So here are my new business cards...
In Latin, "Arma" means tool / technology, while "novus" means latest / cutting-edge. Armanovus aspires to use the latest technology to build its products. Our motto is "Cutting-edge Technology for Better Productivity".
Armanovus is a small team of 2 developers, 1 designer and 1 account manager. Of course being the founder, I have the privilege to create a 1-letter email handle: z[AT]armanovus.com.
Why Founder | Developer? Founder means I'm the CEO, CTO, CFO, CIO, and all the other CxO titles u can imagine. Dealing with me means you're dealing with the man running the company and making the decisions. Developer means I too write the codes, and not simply outsource it elsewhere.
Armanovus will fly outside island of Jawa today to present their demo to Client #1. Wish us luck :)
And what about ZeddyLabs? Just like in a band, sometimes you want to sing solo: like Justin & NSync, Ahmad Dhani & Dewa, Beyonce & Destiny's Child. Sometimes you want to do your little R&D stuff without dragging the whole team. Sometimes you want to build little apps that's useful for others, and the payment is enough for 1 man, but not for 1 team. So ZeddyLabs is my solo career.
From today onwards, I'm full-time in my startup and have taken leave from Microsoft until July 31.
And so the journey of a new startup begins today... in the next blog, I'll share about our office & the infrastructure we use (sorry MS folks, TFS is thrown out in favor of Subversion).
